The ABA Franchising Company

The Hi-5 ABA model was developed by Hi-5 ABA, Inc.’s affiliate “ABC Behavior” beginning in 2014. As of December 31, 2018, ABC Behavior operated 10 businesses, and currently serves clients in Northern and Central Virginia. Hi-5 ABA aims to expand its model throughout the United States.

A successful ABA practice requires extensive expertise in two areas—business administration and clinical application. The Hi-5 ABA system (in conjunction with its affiliates) is designed to provide comprehensive administrative support to the BCBA who wants to own her own practice while remaining free to concentrate where her professional skills are most needed—clinical supervision, training, and client care.

Why Franchise?

Hi-5 ABA works diligently to continue ABC’s disciplined efforts toward earning and maintaining an excellent reputation in the industry. Hi-5 ABA prioritizes: professional ethical standards; strict integrity with respect to records, disclosures, and claims; and genuine care toward client families, company personnel, and other industry participants. Franchisees share the benefits and responsibilities inherent in Hi-5 ABA’s systems, culture, and relationships within the industry.

At the same time, franchisees: own and operate their own practices; enjoy clinical independence to design and execute treatment plans; determine their own pace for direction, growth, and business style; and receive broad, expert administrative support on an economical basis.

Hi-5 ABA and its affiliate processing team (Hi-5 Processing, Inc.) provide support services to help franchisees develop their business plans, recruit staff, obtain appropriate credentials, relate effectively with insurers, file and collect claims, process payroll, manage accounting, and maintain cashflow.

Services We Provide

Franchisee BCBAs enjoy clinical and operational independence. They make their own decisions related to staffing, caseloads, schedules, and treatment plans. Hi-5 ABA and its affiliate processing team facilitate BCBA clinical-focus by providing a broad array of administrative support:

  • Incorporation*
  • Credentialing
  • Financial Reports
  • Technician Recruiting
  • Payroll
  • Billing
  • Cash Flow Assistance
  • Clinical Consultation

* Incorporation or business entity formation is optional through other third parties if franchisee so chooses. We may offer contacts of third parties that we have used, but we do not provide these services.

Our Business Model

Hi-5 ABA and its affiliates offer support services to help franchisees establish and develop their practice. They continue to help the franchisee build their practice’s staff (through optional recruitment) and clientele while providing back-office supports. From there, Hi-5 ABA works diligently to ensure that franchisees have the autonomy and freedom to operate their practices as they choose.
