Hi-5 ABA franchisees provide supervision and training for Behavior Technicians Careers and those interested in becoming BCBA-certified. This position often has flexible hours (part-time or full-time) and involves high levels of interaction with the client, the client’s family, other Technicians, and your BCBA Supervisor.
Each office is directed by a Board Certified and Licensed Behavior Analyst (BCBA). The BCBAs lead close-knit teams of Behavior Technicians and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) as they provide in-home and clinic-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to children and families in their local communities.
The responsibility of the Behavior Technician is to implement treatment plans as directed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), to clients with developmental disabilities. This requires compassion, a firm grasp of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), and professionalism. Part-time positions and their availability will be dependent upon your location, experience, and other factors.
A Behavior Technician is required to have, at minimum, a high school diploma (or equivalent), have reliable transportation, pass a background check, and be at least 18 years of age. Adult and Pediatric CPR/BLS is required to be with clients one-on-one. Hi-5 ABA also requires a TB screening to ensure the safety of clients. Additional educational requirements may apply to other insurance companies and providers.
