Hi-5 ABA Welcomes Cassandra Chizy of Douglas, Massachusetts
Hi-5 ABA welcomes Cassandra Chizy of Douglas, Massachusetts! Born in Malden, Cassandra went to school in Worcester, worked in the Webster school district, received her masters from Bay Path University in Longmeadow, and moved to Douglas where she married her husband in 2019. Now, she is starting her own ABA business so that she can serve other Bay Staters who have autism or related developmental disabilities.
Cassandra first connected with the ABA industry during childhood because her brother received services. She witnessed the benefits of ABA not only for him but also for her entire family. After working as a Behavior Technician following college, she earned her Masters in Special Education, received 1,500 hours of supervision, passed the BCBA certification exam, and became a Licensed Applied Behavior Analyst (LABA). As a provider and sister, she is especially effective at empathizing with the client’s needs and offering services tailored to the family.
Since beginning her career in 2013, Cassandra worked with individuals diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder in a variety of settings: private school, public school, home, clinic, and community. She developed a strong interest in social skills training. Many times, she has offered informational events for the autism community and supported fundraising efforts for organizations like Autism Speaks. Other professional interests include teaching verbal behavior, executive functions, self-help, and vocational skills.
Hi-5 ABA is excited for Cassandra as she builds her practice! You can reach out to her with the information below.
