Three Fleur De Lis
ABA Therapy Gainesville GA
Before becoming a military spouse and having children, Kara Juarez used her life-long love of art and creative abilities for a career in Graphic Design. Utilizing her strong eye for color, meticulous attention to detail and customer care, Kara found success designing logos, promotional pieces, and ads as well as laying out newspapers for military installations. Being a military spouse strengthened Kara’s reliability, resourcefulness, and compassion for others.
When Chris and Kara’s middle son was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Kara became very involved in his therapies. Kara began using her passion for helping kids on the spectrum through her work as a Significant Support Needs Paraprofessional in various schools in Colorado Springs, CO. She witnessed the impact ABA had on her child and family, which pushed her to become a Registered Behavior Technician. As a Registered Behavior Technician, Kara worked in a center as well as a special education classroom. Working as an RBT cemented her desire to obtain her BCBA through St. Joseph’s University online Autism program.
