Special Education Advocacy and Consultation

David Maddox, J.D., is a consultant who provides advocacy for parents of children requiring special education and their dealings with public schools. Services include: planning, preparation, and attendance of IEP, BIP, and other relevant meetings and mediation conferences. Mr. Maddox assists parents in understanding the public education system, knowing their rights, and assessing resources most beneficial to their child. His approach involves fostering good working relationships between parents and schools while determinedly pursuing parents’ priorities.

Primary areas of service include Virginia counties: Prince William, Fairfax, Fauquier, and Loudoun.

  • Rate: $90/hour
  • Standard Retainer: $500
