Each one of the Hi-5 ABA offices is led by a fully-certified BCBA devoted to helping families through ABA. Although much of the work is done in the comfort of your own home, Hi-5 ABA offices also serve in schools, workplaces, and other areas of your community. Currently, Hi-5 ABA supports Virginia and Indiana. The Hi-5 ABA franchisor anticipates opening locations in Maryland, Pennsylvania, and other states in the near future. Maureen earned her undergraduate degree in Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame with a focus in Accounting. After an eight-year commitment to the field of accounting, she decided it was time to pursue her true passion of helping children with Autism achieve their potential by providing the tools they need to thrive. Her vision is for every child with Autism in her community to have a life that fits. A life that fits their individual needs.

When Maureen first entered the field of ABA, she provided research assistance for six months to a PhD candidate at the Kennedy Krieger Institute in Baltimore.  Then she was hired as an ABA therapist at the Aurora School where she was assigned one student. She quickly rose in the ranks of ABA therapists and was promoted to Program Director where she worked with 13 young adolescents with special needs, their staff, and their parents.

Maureen has worked in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) since 2012, and received a Masters of Science in ABA from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology in October of 2017.  She sat for the Board Certified Behavior Analyst exam in May of 2018 and was licensed as an LBA in Virginia in August of the same year. She is authorized to supervise RBTs and BCaBAs. She has six years of experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), in addition to other disabilities such as Fragile-X Syndrome, Intellectual Disabilities, Developmental Delays, and Cerebral Palsy.

Jackie received her undergraduate degree from Virginia Commonwealth University in May of 2014 with a Bachelors of Science in Psychology.  She started her Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) course work soon after.  She became a certified Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) in November of 2014, and graduated with her Masters in Science in Psychology with a concentration in ABA in March of 2016 from Capella University.  She received her BCBA certification in August of the same year.

Jackie has been working with children with special needs since 2008, and children in general since seventh grade.  She has experience working in a residential setting, private school setting, and in-home ABA service setting.  She has experience providing a comprehensive service not only of direct instruction using a variety of teaching methods in the home, but also attending IEP meetings, providing parent support, collaboration with teachers and schools, as well as providing support in the natural environment and community.

Rachel received her undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice from Marymount University in Arlington, Virginia. She began work as a behavior therapist in 2004 and worked several years in that capacity before earning her Master’s Degree in Education and certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis from George Mason University in 2017. Rachel completed her practicum at the Aurora School in Leesburg as well as ABC Behavior and became a BCBA in November of 2018.

Rebecca Gonzales received her undergraduate degree from George Mason University with a Bachelor’s degree in Integrative Studies. She also completed her Master of Education from George Mason University in Special Education and a Graduate Certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis. She received her BCBA in February 2016.

Rebecca has been working with individuals diagnosed with disabilities since 2008. She has provided ABA services for individuals diagnosed with developmental disabilities from ages 18 months – 18 years old.  Rebecca has experience working with teenagers and adults focusing on life skills, verbal behavior, transitioning, and behavior management. She also has experience with providing early intervention to individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome, in addition to Developmental and Intellectual Disabilities. Rebecca enjoys creating and managing social groups with individuals working on increasing verbal behavior, social interaction, play/leisure, and life skills.

Joseph Clem has been a Board Certified Behavior Analyst since 2016 and is licensed to practice behavior analysis in the Commonwealth of Virginia. He earned a B.A. in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Special Education from George Mason University. Joseph has been working with children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities since 2011. He is excited to be working toward providing meaningful outcomes.

Leah Maddox was born and raised in Northern Virginia. She received her Bachelor’s in Psychology from George Mason University in 2015 and went on to complete her M.Ed. in Special Education and certification in Applied Behavior Analysis in 2018. Leah is currently enrolled at The Chicago School for her PhD in Applied Behavior Analysis. She started working with ABC Behavior as a behavior technician in 2017 and is now serving as Co-Director of the Manassas Branch with BCBA Joseph Clem.

In 2011, Jessica received her B.S. in Psychology with a minor in Women and Gender Studies from SUNY Brockport. She worked as a teacher assistant/socio-therapist working with children from 13-21 years of age with developmental disabilities and mental health issues. She transitioned to a special education self-contained classroom working with children diagnosed with Autism. In September of 2013, she moved from New York to Virginia to continue her education and begin her career in Applied Behavior Analysis, working direct care with children diagnosed with Autism ages 2-21 years of age in English and Spanish speaking households. She completed her master’s program at George Mason University, receiving a M.Ed. in Special Education with a specialization in Applied Behavior Analysis. Jessica received her BCBA and became a licensed behavior analyst in 2017.

Jessica is currently a PhD student in Applied Behavior Analysis at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Her position as a research assistant there, has granted her opportunities to travel to present at ABA conferences around the country and further the research on behavior reduction and trauma using ABA strategies. She has a passion for helping families and is excited to open those she serves to the power of ABA.

After five years as an English teacher in Asia, and seven years as a high school special education teacher in Chicago, Rachel began studying Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) in 2012. She became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in 2014 and has worked extensively in both home and school settings since that time.  She specializes in early intervention through the use of Pivotal Response Treatment (PRT), a naturalistic, child-initiated, and research-based intervention that targets pivotal areas of a child’s development and emphasizes parent training.  Rachel also has an undergraduate degree in psychology and a graduate degree in education, both from the California State University at Long Beach.

Mrs. Stephanie Maddox is a Board Certified/Licensed Behavior Analyst who holds a Master of Science in Counseling from NOVA Southeastern University specializing in Applied Behavior Analysis. She received training in the education and treatment of individuals with autism spectrum disorders at the Aurora School in Leesburg, Va., where she served as an ABA therapist.
