Baton Rouge ABA Provider Hires Valdez as BCBA
Baton Rouge, La. – 12/23/2020 – Three Fleur De Lis, an Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Provider through Hi-5 ABA, hired Monica Valdez as its first BCBA. Valdez will provide ABA services to include oversight of all treatment as well as the supervision of technicians working with clients receiving in-home therapy in Baton Rouge, La.
Mrs. Valdez brings over a decade’s experience working with children and their families in various settings such as autism centers, in-home therapy, and schools in four states. Beginning her career in ABA as a behavior interventionist, Mrs. Valdez progressed to therapist trainer and case supervisor. She obtained her BCBA credential in 2019 following her graduation from Capella University where she received her Masters of Science in Psychology and a specialization in Applied Behavior Analysis. When asked about her vision, Mrs. Valdez said, “I love helping clients and their families dream big and achieve their goals through parent training, encouragement, and support.” Outside of work, Mrs. Valdez enjoys traveling with her husband, spending time with her family and friends, and reading books and journal articles.
